As the end of the school year steadily approaches, the class of ‘26 is getting ready for their last last day of high school and gearing up for their post-high school plans.
The soon to come graduation is very bittersweet for seniors this year. “I will miss seeing my friends everyday and laughing with them and having a chill time,” said Lilia Taher (12).
Other than just their friends, seniors are also going to miss their meals teachers who helped shape their future. “I’m definitely gonna miss my classes. My classes were really chill in HS, I had a lot of fun,” said Pooja Bhatt (12).
Even though leaving high school is coming as very sad and sentimental, seniors are over the moon excited to see what this next chapter in their lives will bring. “I’m excited to meet new people and to have some work experience,” Lilia Taher (12) said.
Meeting new people is only one exciting thing about this year’s seniors starting their new chapter. “Just to start my new adult life, you know it’s a lot of, it’s a big, like, milestone for a lot of people,” said Pooja Bhatt (12).
Wylie High School has been a very impactful place in these seniors’ lives for the last four years, and although soon it will live in their past, seniors are inevitably never going to forget their teachers and peers that made a difference on them for the last four years.
