On Wednesday, Feb 4th, Wylie ISD celebrated their annual Wylie Way “Map Your Future” Day. In light of the occasion, campuses across the district got to enjoy music, food trucks during lunch, and brightly colored decorations.
Despite the festivities, the most notable parts of the day were the various Wylie Way lessons.
“Wylie Way Day teaches us a lot of real life skills, and I got a lot more time to interact with my peers,” Aleena Ali (11) said.
Overall, this year’s “Map Your Future” day was successful in teaching students the life skills that will help them grow, persevere, and demonstrate the Wylie Way.
“I think Wylie Way Day, especially “Map Your Future” day, is really important for students,” Ali said.
March 11th will be the Wylie Way follow up day.
