The start of a new year is always an exciting feeling. There is hope of starting off the new year by accomplishing goals, trying new things, and developing a consistent routine. Making a New Year’s resolution can help with fulfilling these goals.
People all over the world have different goals they want to accomplish in 2026. From goals like college, work, or sports success and even growth in one’s own faith. Anna Rosol (11) shares the goals that she wants to accomplish in 2026.
“Taking more protein, whether it’s eating or drinking. Get into my Bible more and try to read it everyday…sub 50 in the two mile, sub 7 in the mile, sub 15 in the two mile, sub 320 in the 800 and sub 25 in the 5k,” said Rosol (11).
At the start of a new year, maintaining the motivation to actually keep going and accomplishing your goals can be tricky. One way to stay motivated with your New Year’s resolution is thinking about your future while still actively completing your current goals.
“My motivation is writing my own book which I’m currently doing. Another motivation is moving out, which is going to be hard, but I want to go to a college that is out of state and not in state, so that’s one of my motivations,” said Abeer Ahmedani (11).
New Year’s resolutions can help be a motivation for everyone at the start of a new year. It gives people hope that they can achieve a better version of themselves by the end of the year.
