On the morning of October 9th, the Wylie cross country team participated in a competition meet at 8 a.m. It later ended at 11 p.m., ending the meet with the award ceremony. There were multiple schools that ended up showing up, such as Wylie East, Garland, and Sachse.

The whole meet was very competitive, intense, and full of emotion. Both the boys and girls did a splendid job; both got third place in their own divisions respectively. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, they qualified and will be moving on to regionals, which will be taking place very soon, hopefully bringing back a couple more trophies along the way.
