As Oct. 31 approaches, Wylie High School students are getting excited for Halloween. Since Halloween falls on a Friday this year, let’s see what students will be up to and what kind of costumes they are dressing up as this year.
The fun of Halloween night can be found whether we are dressing up in costumes and trick or treating, or simply hanging out with the people we love. This year Harper Hudson (9) is looking forward to spending the night with her grandmother.
“On Halloween night, I’m going to hang out with my grandmother and hand out candy together and it’s going to be so fun,” said Harper Hudson (9).
Part of what makes Halloween so fun is thinking up the perfect costume to dress up as, and also seeing everyone else’s great costume choices.
“I am dressing up as Cleo De Nile from Monster High,” Sofia Clark (11) said. That will be a fun throwback costume to the dolls that were so popular when we were younger.
When it comes to Halloween night, remember to stay safe and have fun with friends and family. Try not to eat too much candy, as tempting as it is.
