December 15, we had our Cross-Town Showdown basketball games. Both at home, the Pirates and Lady Pirates took on the Raiders. 

The Lady Pirates started the first quarter strong with 18 to 7. Then, they ended the first half with a total of 33, east was at 23. 

In the second half the Pirates gained 33 points. We won with a total of 66-53, the first 66 of the night.

Then after the varsity girls, the varsity boys took the court against Easts varsity boys.

In the first half the Pirates accumulated 44 points, East at 24. By the end of the second half the Pirates won with the score of 66-47, the second 66 of the night. 

Our boys varsity has a win rate of 0.67% and we are 3rd in district. And our varsity girls have a win rate of 0.73%, they are 2nd in district.
