On Friday, September 22, our varsity football team dominated the North Garland Raiders with an amazing winning score of 25-35. At the Williams Stadium, Wylie Football played ruthlessly and succeeded in winning their 3rd game in a row this year.
In Quarter 1, both Wylie and North Garland started out excellently, with each team scoring a touchdown in the first 15 minutes. By the end of the 2nd Quarter, Wylie was leading, with 21 more points. All together, four touchdowns for the first half of the game, ending with 28-7.
Once the game commenced after halftime, North Garland won 8 points in the 3rd quarter, but Wylie responded with one last touchdown in Quarter 4. As North Garland got within 7-10 points in the last quarter, Wylie Football won with incredible feats, leading our victorious Pirates with a winning streak and ready to dominate at their next game.
